3rd Ludwig-Genzel-Prize awarded to Prof. Dr. Ricardo Lobo
Within the scope of the scientific conference LEES'08 (Low Energy Electrodynamics in Solids) in Whistler close to Vancouver/CND, the Ludwig-Genzel-Prize was awarded to Prof. Dr. Ricardo Lobo. The Ludwig-Genzel-Prize, founded by Bruker Optics is awarded biyearly to a young scientist for exceptional contributions to the field of condensed-matter spectroscopy.
This year, it was awarded to Prof Dr. Ricardo Lobo (Laboratoire Photons et Matiere - CNRS UPR 5, Paris) for his contributions to the optical spectroscopy of superconductors as well as for his pioneer work in the field of far infrared pump-probe spectroscopy. Bruker Optics congratulates Prof. Lobo and wishes a successful scientific career in the years ahead.
