Heating and Cooling Stage

 Heating and Cooling Stage

Precision heating and cooling stage adds additional research capabilities to Bruker Optics Infrared and Raman microscopes. Linkam FTIR600 Heating and Cooling Stage allows the infrared or Raman analysis of samples from -196 up to 600°C covering all applications from pharmaceutical to polymers. The silver block has a tapered hole to allow maximum transmittance of IR without interference. The angle admittance from the condenser is 85° and that of the objective is 116° .

The stage can be attached to the z-stage of the HYPERION FT-IR or the SENTERRA Raman microscopes, the x-y stage must be removed. The temperature controlled sample stage can be used with HYPERION microscope’s 15x NA=0.4 objective or any LWD SENTERRA objective. Temperatures below ambient are achieved by
using liquid nitrogen which is pumped through the heating and cooling block. All parts required for temperature control are included. The temperature of the sample can be controlled manually or by the OPUS software.
